Welcome to the Merungle Alpaca Stud Website.Established in 1993, Merungle Alpaca Stud has a wealth of experience to offer.
For the new alpaca owner, Merungle owners Jen & Peter McDavitt each have over 12 years experience in the alpaca industry. They enjoy sharing their knowledge and help others just getting into the industry.
Both Jen and Peter have farming backgrounds and are passionate about and their animals.
Merungle also offers a large selection of animals for sale, and with quality bloodlines that include well known studs such as Purrumbete Highlander, Peruvian Sonoma, Peruvian Legend, Peruvian Pluro, Purrumbete Inti, Peruvian Don Julio, Peruvian Chief, Peruvian Kosako and of course our 'home bred' "Merungle Hot Chili" a grey male who is virtually unsurpassed in the show ring, dominating the grey section for 4 years. Merungle is sure to suit even the most discerning buyer.
Merungle Alpaca Stud holds Handling Workshops, On-farm Open Days, and offers farm visits by appointment. Merungle is also a regular attendee at Shows and Field Days.
